THE LOVE STORY I SEE:
creative musings of a devoted woman...
I love observing nature. I love that God created everything on this earth to be colorful, serving, scientific, unique. All that He made was intended for His glory. All that we see and know, God first spoke into existence.
Most of all, I love that the Creator of this crazy-enormous universe decided to make it very personal when He molded mankind with His own hands. He intimately breathed His sacred breath into our lungs so that we might benefit... so that we might live eternally knowing the astounding love of a Holy Father.
This is the love story I see... the divine romance behind all that I paint. It is my own messy, artistic, emotional response to God's perfect design - highlighted in colorful pigment, imagination, and hope.
Yes, as many are aware, I am best know as a woman who is devoted to write and speak - bringing attention to the Lord's magnificent throne and the Savior's sweet, sacrificial love. But my truest worship is most savored in the slow and steady rhythm of His breathing pattern. The moments that I am able to rest silently, prayerfully in observance of His Word while looking at the universe through His loving lens.
To this end, my prayer is that everything I say and do encourages others toward the restorative and healing presence of our gracious Creator. May we love Him whole-heartedly, share Him fluently, and abide in His Spirit as thoughtfully as the One who sent His only Son to die a horrible death on a lowly cross so that we might be saved forever.
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him.
He alone is my rock and salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Many blessing to you in Jesus Name!
Victoria Anderson is a watercolor artist currently living in Houston, Texas. She was born a creative soul. As such, her mother insisted that instead of coloring within the lines of standard printed coloring books, Victoria should draw her own pictures to color in as she wished. This nourished a lifelong love of all things artistic for Victoria and gave her the belief that she should try out all mediums that interested her. Over the course of her life, she has enjoyed expressing herself in watercolor, gouache, oil, acrylic, clay, collage, textiles, writing, photography and more to communicate her inner spirit and love to the world. Mostly, she is obsessed with loose watercolor techniques with carefree brushstrokes and subtly merging washes. Because of this, after 20+ years of working in corporate Human Resources for several Fortune 500 companies located throughout Chicago, Illinois, in 2012 Victoria moved to Houston, Texas and began devoting herself full-time as a professional watercolor artist. Today, she most enjoys commissioning bespoke wedding invitation packages, creating artwork for home decor, and selling custom stationery supplies online.
